Greater Heat Retention
The one-piece, full coverage design wraps the entire neonate's head, promoting greater heat retention.
The sheer, permeable material allows phototherapy to treat jaundiced skin above the eyes.
The Bilibeanie's smooth material allows it to glide over bed linens with ease. The ear fasteners reinforce the beanie by minimizing displacement during head movement. Its unique form fit supports micro-premi to full term babies (20-38cm circumferences) and remains out of the way of hospital equipment.
With less time spent on readjusting the Bilibeanie every hour, nurses and hospital staff are able to attend to more patients.
This is accomplished using three key design features
- Single Layer Nylon - a thin surface that glides seemlessly over bed linens and allows phototherapy light penetration in the upper portion of the Bilibeanie
- Blue Light Shield - a nonpenetrable, multi-layered nylon to protect neonates' eyes from phototherapy light
- Ear Fasteners - additional support to prevent Bilibeanie displacement during head movement
